Cajun chicken with fettuccine Alfredo.This delicious recipe belongs to Italian cuisine.Very simple and easy chicken recipe.
- 4 boneless and skinless chicken breasts
- Cajun seasoning
- olive oil
- 1 pound(480 g) fettuccine
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic,peeled and minced
- 2 cups(500 ml) heavy cream
- 1 cup(250 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Rub chicken breasts on both sides with Cajun seasoning.
Preheat olive oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add seasoned chicken breasts and cook until browned and cooked through. Set aside and cover with aluminum foil.
Cook fettuccine,according cooking instruction. Drain and set aside.
In a medium saucepan,melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Add heavy cream and bring to a boil. Boil for 30 seconds-1 minute,then reduce heat to low.
Add grated Parmesan cheese and cook,stirring,until sauce reaches desired thickness. Season with salt and black pepper.
Add sauce to cooked fettuccine and stir well.
Slice cooked chicken breasts and top each serving with sliced meat.
