Classic Espresso Martini cocktail recipe. An excellent mixed drink with Coffee Liqueur, Vodka, and Espresso coffee. Very easy and tasty! “One Martini is alright, two is too many, and three is not enough.” James Thurber, humorist.

Classic Dry Martini Mixed Drink

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients:3 oz (90 ml) gin, dash dry vermouth, a dash of orange bitters, and olive to garnish

Instructions: In a shaker filled with ice, combine gin, vermouth, and orange bitters. Shake vigorously for about 20 seconds. The Martini should be ice-cold to the very last drop. Strain vodka mixture into a chilled Martini glass. Serve with a lemon twist or an olive.

Useful Martini Terminology:

Wet Martini Drink made with extra dry vermouth. Gibson Martini garnished with a white pearl onion. Franklin Martini garnished with two olives. Naked Martini made by merely rinsing Martini glass with dry vermouth then tipping away. Bradford Martini drink, shaken, not stirred. Buckeye Martini garnished with a black olive. Dickens’ Dry Martini drink served as is (no olive or lemon twist)
