Easy orange-lemon sangria wine recipe.
Easy Lemonade Recipe
Makes 2 cups
Ingredients: For syrup: 1 cup granulated sugar, 2/3 cup (160 ml) water, 1/3 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1¼ cups (310 ml) water, For Lemonade: fresh mint sprigs, lemon slices, sliced fresh strawberries
Instructions: Heat the sugar and water slowly in a saucepan. Stir well. Boil over medium-high heat for 2 minutes. Cool. Store in a refrigerator. For 2 servings, combine the lemon juice, water, and 2/3 cup (160 ml) of the chilled sugar syrup. Pour into chilled glasses. Garnish with fresh sprigs of mint, lemon slices, and sliced strawberries.
Makes 4 glasses
Ingredients: For Syrup: 1/3 cup (80 ml) water, 1/4 cup sugar, 2½ cups (625 ml) orange juice, For Orangeade: 5 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice, 2½ cups (625 ml) soda water, 4 fresh sprigs mint, set in ice cubes
Instructions: In a small saucepan, combine water and sugar. Stir until sugar dissolved. Slowly bring the sugar mixture to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat. Chill. In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar syrup, orange juice, lemon juice, and soda water. Pour over ice cubes into chilled glasses.
Tropical Fruit Punch Recipe
Ingredients: 1 cup sugar, 2/3 cup (160 ml) water, 1¼ cups fresh or canned pineapple juice, 2/3 cup (160 ml) orange juice, 1¼ cups (310 ml) grapefruit juice, freshly squeezed juice of 1 lemon, 5 cups (1250 ml) cold weak tea, 2½ cups (625 ml) ginger ale, fresh mint sprigs, 4 fresh strawberries, finely chopped, 2/3 cup finely chopped papaya, 1 firm banana, finely chopped, crushed ice
Instructions: Place the sugar and water in a saucepan over gentle heat. Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Increase heat to high, bring sugar mixture to a boil. Boil, stirring, for a few minutes. Chill. Stir in chilled sugar syrup to the fruit juices and tea. Chill well. Just before serving, add the ginger ale and float the mint and fruit on top of the punch. Add plenty of crushed ice.
Easy Orange-Lemon Sangria Wine Recipe
- 1 bottle (500 ml) Bitter tonic
- 1 bottle(500 ml) dry red wine
- 2-3 medium oranges, peeled and sliced
- 2-3 lemons, peeled and sliced
- sugar, to taste
Combine all ingredients in a glass bowl. Add sugar to taste and thoroughly mix all ingredients using a blender.
Put the fruit mixture in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours. Serve in a decanter with ice cubes.
