Easy saucy pork tenderloin recipe.

Broiled marinated pork tenderloin with tasty homemade teriyaki mushroom sauce. Very easy and delicious! You can prepare pork tenderloin with different sauces such as honey-mustard applesauce. See the recipe below (adapted from  https://www.bigoven.com/)

Easy Saucy Pork Tenderloin Recipe

1 serving

Ingredients: 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, 1½ cups (370 ml) applesauce (you can prepare classic homemade applesauce), 1/4 cup (60 ml) Dijon mustard, 1½ tablespoons clear honey, salt, and freshly ground black pepper to taste, 3-4 fresh basil sprigs, 3-4 fresh rosemary leaves, 2 pork tenderloins 2-2½ pounds (960-1.44 kg) each
Instructions: Preheat an oven to 350º F (175º C). In a large nonstick skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add pork tenderloins and brown on all sides, seasoning as you turn it. Lightly grease a roasting pan and rack it with nonstick cooking spray. Arrange pork roasts on the rack.

In a small mixing bowl, combine applesauce, Dijon mustard, and honey. Mix well. Pour applesauce mixture over roasts, covering completely and allowing dripping down the sides. Top with fresh basil and rosemary leaves. Place in preheated oven and bake, uncovered, for 1-1½ hours, or until the internal meat thermometer reaches 140º F (70º C).

Turn off the oven. Remove cooked pork tenderloins from the oven with any accumulated liquids and transfer them to a cutting board. Allow resting for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve hot. You may also like Slow Cooker Pea-Ham Soup

Easy Saucy Pork Tenderloin Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dark corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 2 tablespoons seasoned rice vinegar
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1½ pounds (720 g) lean pork tenderloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 1 cup sliced scallions
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Method

Step 1

In a glass or stainless-steel mixing bowl, combine teriyaki sauce, corn syrup, lemon juice, cherry, vinegar, garlic, and ginger root. Add pork and turn to coat with marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour or overnight.

Step 2

Arrange pork on a rack in a broiling pan, reserving marinade. Broil until done to taste, about 5 min. on each side.

Step 3

In 1-quart saucepan heat oil. Add mushrooms and scallions, and cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until mushrooms are highly browned about 5 min. Add cornstarch to reserved marinade, stirring to dissolve cornstarch; stir into vegetable mixture. Bring the mixture to a boil.

Step 4

Reduce heat to low and simmer for 2 min. To serve this delicious dish, arrange pork on a serving platter and top with vegetable mixture.
