Easy saucy pork tenderloin recipe.
Broiled marinated pork tenderloin with tasty homemade teriyaki-mushroom sauce. Very easy and delicious! You can prepare pork tenderloin with different sauces such as honey-mustard applesauce. See recipe below (adapted from https://www.bigoven.com/)
Easy Saucy Pork Tenderloin Recipe
1 serving
Ingredients: 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, 1½ cups (370 ml) applesauce (you can prepare classic homemade applesauce), 1/4 cup (60 ml) Dijon mustard, 1½ tablespoons clear honey, salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste, 3-4 fresh basil sprigs, 3-4 fresh rosemary leaves, 2 pork tenderloins 2-2½ pounds (960-1.44 kg) each
Instructions: Preheat an oven to 350º F (175º C). In a large nonstick skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add pork tenderloins and brown on all sides, seasoning as you turn it. Lightly grease a roasting pan and rack with nonstick cooking spray. Arrange pork roasts on the rack.
In a small mixing bowl, combine applesauce, Dijon mustard, and honey. Mix well. Pour applesauce mixture over roasts, covering completely and allowing dripping down the sides. Top with fresh basil and rosemary leaves. Place in preheated oven and bake, uncovered, for 1-1½ hours, or until internal meat thermometer reaches 140º F (70º C).
Turn off the oven. Remove cooked pork tenderloins from the oven with any accumulated liquids and transfer to a cutting board. Allow resting for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve hot. You may also like Slow Cooker Pea-Ham Soup
