    Instant Pot Beef Lo Mein Recipe

Fried beef with mushrooms and snow peas is very delicious Asian beef recipe.


  • 1/2 cup (125 g) low-sodium soy sauce
  • 5 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 6 garlic cloves,peeled and minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 10 oz (300 g) snow peas
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 10 oz (300 g) fresh mushrooms,thinly sliced
  • 1 pounds (480 g) sirloin beef steak,thinly sliced
  • 2 cups (500 g) cooked rice


Step 1

In a mixing bowl,combine soy sauce,brown sugar,ginger,garlic and rice vinegar. Mix well and set aside.

Step 2

In a medium pan,bring water to a boil. Add snow peas and and boil them for 5 minutes. Drain,remove from the pan and set aside.

Step 3

In a large nonstick skillet,heat olive oil. Add sliced mushrooms and cook ,stirring,until they brown nicely. Add slat,to taste,then remove from the heat and place in the bowl.

Step 4

Add 2 tablespoons olive oil to the same skillet. Working in a batches,add thinly sliced beef and brown it over high heat. Turn over browned meat and cook more, on high heat, until all slices brown nicely.

Step 5

Return all cooked beef back to skillet. Add snow peas and cooked mushrooms. Pour over sauce. Stir well to combine and cook,stirring,for 1 minute.

Step 6

Serve fried beef with snow peas and mushrooms over cooked rice.
