Honey-Dijon chicken recipe pressure cooker. Chicken breasts with tasty homemade honey-Dijon sauce cooked in an electric pressure cooker.
You can also cook it in a slow cooker. To make it you need to use the following ingredients:
2 pounds (960 g) boneless and skinless chicken breasts
1½ teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 cups (500 ml) honey-Dijon mustard
Instructions:
Grease insight of cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Sprinkle with garlic and onion powders.
Pour salad dressing over. Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 8-10 hours.
Turn off slow cooker. Using tongs, remove cooked chicken breasts from slow cooker and transfer to a serving plate. Pour sauce over. Serve hot.
Honey-Dijon Chicken Recipe Pressure Cooker
Ingredients
- 2 pounds (960 g) boneless and skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) coarse mustrad,whole grain
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup (250 ml) low-fat chicken broth
Method
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, combine mustard, honey, brown sugar, onion powder, and salt. Mix well to create a glaze.
Step 2
Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the pressure cooker. Pour half of the mustard mixture over chicken, reserving another half of glaze. Pour chicken broth overall.
Step 3
Close pressure cooker and lock the lid. Set burner heat to high pressure. When cooker reaches high pressure, reduce heat to low. Set timer to cook for 8 minutes.
Step 4
Open the pressure cooker, using a Quick Release method. Using tongs, remove cooked chicken and transfer to a serving plate. Pour reserved mustard mixture over and serve hot.
