Instant Pot Vegan Broccoli with Lemon Recipe


  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 4 lemon slices
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and diced
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup (250 ml) water


Step 1

Pour the water into the pot, then place a trivet.

Step 2

Arrange broccoli florets on a round springform tin. Add sliced lemon and diced garlic. Place the tin on top of the trivet.

Step 3

Close the pot and lock the lid. Set the machine to cook at high pressure. Set the timer to cook for 2 minutes.

Step 4

Using the Quick Release method, bring pressure to normal. Carefully unlock and open the lid.

Step 5

Remove the tin from the cooker. Transfer cooked broccoli with lemon and garlic to a serving bowl. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot.
