Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) mango puree,strained through a fine mesh strainer
  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 5 cups sugar
  • 1 cup (250 ml) water

Method

Step 1

In a saucepan,combine mango puree,granulated sugar and water. Mix well and bring to a boil.

Step 2

Then reduce the heat to low and simmer until sugar is dissolved,about 10 minutes. Remove from the heat,set aside and allow to cool completely.

Step 3

Stir in freshly squeezed lemon juice. Pour into cocktail glass or highball filled with ice.
