You can bake the chocolate cake in slow cooker. Please see below how to make it (recipe adapted from http://allrecipes.com/).

Slow Cooker Chocolate Cake

Ingredients: 2 cups granulated white sugar, 1¾ cups all-purpose flour, 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa, 1½ teaspoons baking powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 2 large eggs, beaten, 1 cup (250 ml) whole milk, 1/2 cup (125 ml) vegetable oil, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 1 cup (250 ml) boiling water

Instructions: Grease the slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. In a medium mixing bowl, combine sugar, all-purpose flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Mix well. In another bowl, combine beaten eggs, milk, vegetable oil and vanilla extract. Mix well and pour in the boiling water. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry mixture. Mix well.

Pour the cake batter into a greased slow cooker. Close the cooker and cook on a low-heat setting for about 3 hours, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Turn off the slow cooker. Allow the chocolate cake to cool on a wire rack for 30 minutes before serving.

Chocolate Frosting Recipe

Ingredients: !/4 cup butter, 1/4 cup water, 2 pieces unsweetened chocolate, 2¼ cups sifted confectioners (caster, superfine) sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions: In a small saucepan, heat the butter and water. Add chocolate, and heat until the chocolate melts. Gently add the caster sugar and vanilla extract.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 F (175 C). Line an 8-inch (20 cm) round layer pan with greased wax paper.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, combine the butter and sugar. Cream until light and fluffy. Sadd beaten eggs and stir well. Beat in corn syrup.

Step 3

In another mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, cocoa, and salt. Mix well. Stir the sifted ingredients and the milk and baking soda alternately into the creamed mixture. Spread the mixture in a prepared cake pan. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the the center of cake comes out clean.

Step 4

Cool chocolate cake on a wire rack. Frost with Chocolate Frosting (see recipe above).
