Oven baked lemon-pesto chicken wings. Chicken wings baked in an oven and served with tasty homemade lemon-pesto sauce.
- 4 pounds (1.9 kg) chicken wings,tips removed
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) basil pesto
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 lemon,zested and juised
Preheat oven to 400 F (200 C).
Arrange chicken wings in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until chicken wings are browned and crispy.
In a mixing bowl,combine basil pesto,crushed red pepper flakes,lemon zest and lemon juice. Mix well.
Remove baked chicken wings from oven. Place in pesto mixture. Toss to coat well. Serve immediately.
