Oven cooked pork chops recipe. Boneless pork chops with mustard,mayonnaise and cheese cooked in oven.Use pork loin tenderloin to make this yummy recipe.This is very tender roast and slices are suitable for braising and baking.Use a meat mallet to pound a meat.

You can braise pork chops in a skillet. To make it you need to use the following ingredients:

4-6 pork chops, any cut, or shoulder steaks, any cut, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper,

1/2 cup (125 ml) dry white wine

Instructions:


Trim a piece of fat from the edge of one pork chop. In a large nonstick skillet, over medium-high heat, rub fat over the bottom of the skillet to grease; discard fat. Add pork chops to the skillet. Cook, turning once until browned. Sprinkle cooked pork with salt and black pepper.

Pour in dry white wine, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for a further 45 minutes. Skim fat from the pan liquid and spoon pan liquid over cooked chops. Serve hot.

Braised Pork Chops Variations:

Prepare skillet-braised pork chops as shown above but, after browning chops, use one of these variations: Apple: Substitute 1/2 cup (125 ml) apple juice for dry white wine and use 3/4 teaspoon salt. During last 5 minutes top pork chops with 4-6 thick cooking apple slices.

Garden: Substitute 1/2 cup (125 ml) cocktail vegetable juice for dry white wine. during last 5 minutes, top chops with 4-6 thin green-pepper rings and 4-6 thin onion slices.

Peach-Chili Sauce: Substitute 1/4 cup (60 ml) syrup drained from 16 oz (480 ml) can peach halves, 1/4 cup (60 ml) chili sauce and 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice for dry white wine. During the last 5 minutes, add peach halves.

Plum: Substitute 1/3 cup (80 ml) syrup from 17 oz (510 ml) can purple plums and 3 tablespoons cider vinegar for dry white wine. During the last 5 minutes, add plums.

Tomato-Thyme: Add 1/8 teaspoon thyme leaves, crushed, with water. During last 5 minutes, top pork chops with 6 thick tomato slices; sprinkle with salt.

Oven Cooked Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless pork tenderlion,sliced
  • 2/3 oz grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • mayonnaise

Method

Step 1

Wash pork slices under running cold water. Pat dry with paper towels. Transfer to curving board.Using a meat mallet pound meat.

Step 2

Place pounded pork on a baking sheet. Bust each pork slices with mustard and then>with soy sauce. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.

Step 3

Top meat with mayonnaise and sprinkle with grated cheese (you can also use sliced cheese,if desired).

Step 4

Preheat oven to 400 F (200 C). Baked in preheated oven for 20 minutes or until meat is tender.
