Ingredients
- 1 pound(480 g) plums,pitted
- 5 oz(150 g) granulated sugar
- 5 oz(150 ml) dry red wine
- 4 oz(120 ml) water
- 1 vanilla pod,carved lengthwise
Method
Step 1
In a large pot,combine all ingredients. Stir well to combine.
Step 2
Bring mixture to a boil,then reduce heat to low and simmer until fruits are soft (about 20 minutes).
Step 3
Remove from the heat. Set aside and allow to cool completely.
Step 4
Place cooled plum mixture into a blender and blend until smooth.
Step 5
Scrap blended mixture into sorbet molds and refrigerate for,at least ,6 hours.
Step 6
Serve plum sorbet frozen.
