One warning when making cranberry sauce in a pressure cooker: Don’t fill the cooker more than half full, because cranberries will produce foam as they cook.

Pressure Cooker Cranberry-Orange Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
- 12 oz (360 g) bag fresh cranberries,picked over
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) water
- 3 tablespoons Grand Marnier liqueur
- grated zest of 1 orange
Method
Step 1
In a pressure cooker, combine all ingredients. Stir well.
Step 2
Close pressure cooker and lock the lid. Set burner heat to high pressure. When cooker reaches high pressure, reduce heat to low. Set timer to cook for 4 minutes.
Step 3
Remove pot from the heat. Open the pressure cooker, using the Quick Release method. Set aside for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Transfer cranberry-orange sauce to a serving bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Serve at room temperature.
