One warning when making cranberry sauce in pressure cooker: Don’t fill cooker more than half full,because cranberries will produce foam as they cook.
There are to many variations of cranberry sauce such as: Cranberry-Kumquat sauce,Cranberry Port Sauce with Tart Dried Cherries,Maple-Apple-Cranberry Sauce etc.

Pressure Cooker Cranberry-Orange Sauce Recipe
- 12 oz (360 g) bag fresh cranberries,picked over
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) water
- 3 tablespoons Grand Marnier liqueur
- grated zest of 1 orange
In a pressure cooker,combine all ingredients. Stir well.
Close pressure cooker and lock the lid. Set burner heat to high pressure. When cooker reaches high pressure,reduce heat to low. Set timer to cook for 4 minutes.
Remove pot from the heat. Open pressure cooker,using Quick Release method. Set aside for 15 minutes.
Transfer cranberry-orange sauce to serving bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Serve at room temperature.
