Pressure Cooker Easy Pork Ragout Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound (480 g) por loin, cubed
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
  • 1 yellow onion, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, seeded and finely chopped
  • 2 cups (500 ml) beef broth, use water as altenative
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Method

Step 1

Heat the vegetable oil in 4-6-quart (4-6 L) pressure cooker turned to the sautรฉ function. Add chopped onions, bell peppers, and garlic. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 30 seconds.

Step 2

Add cubed meat and continue cooking and stirring, until meat nicely browned on all sides. Add the remaining ingredients, except parsley. Mix well.

Step 3

Close the pressure cooker and lock the lid. Set the machine to cook at high pressure. Set the timer to cook for 10 minutes.

Step 4

Using the Quick Release method, bring pressure to normal. Unlock and open the lid. Stir the ragout well before serving.

Step 5

Transfer to serving plates. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley. Serve hot.
