Prosciutto-wrapped caramelized cantaloupe. Very delicious appetizer baked in an oven.

Ingredients

  • half of cantaloupe peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 pound (240g) prosciutto,sliced
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Method

Step 1

Place sliced prosciutto on a work surface. Arrange cubed cantaloupes on prosciutto. Roll up prosciutto around the melon.

Step 2

Place on a baking sheet with one side of melon facing up. Repeat with remaining prosciutto and melon.

Step 3

Dust exposed melon with granulated sugar. Broil in preheated broiler until sugar is caramelized and golden brown (about 2 minutes). Serve immediately.
