Prosciutto wrapped figs and pistachio. Very tasty and easy appetizer cooked in a halogen (turbo) oven.
- 12 fresh figs,halved
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) cream cheese
- 1/4 cup shelled pistachios,chopped
- 6 prosciutto slices,cut in half crosswise,then lengthwise
Top each fig half with 1/2 teaspoon cream cheese. Sprinkle with pistachio nuts. Wrap around each fig half with prosciutto,leaving cheese,nuts and figs partially exposed.
Serve prosciutto wrapped figs as is or bake in a preheated 400°F (200°C) turbo oven for 5-10 minutes. If grilled,serve warm.
