Simple cheesy ham sandwich recipe slow cooker.Very delicious ham,cheese and pesto sandwiches cooked in slow cooker.

Serve tasty warm melt sandwiches from slow cooker for party fare.

A 3-quart (3 L) slow cooker will easily hold 10-12 small sandwiches.

There are a few more sandwich melts variations cooked in slow cooker.

Turkey Chutney Melts


2 oz (60 ml) low-fat cream cheese,at room temperature,1 tablespoon chopped walnuts,4 small buns,cut into halves,4 oz (120 g) thinly sliced turkey,4 tablespoons whole cranberry sauce

Makes 4 servings


In a mixing bowl,combine cream cheese and chopped walnuts.

Spread cream cheese mixture on bottom of buns.Top with sliced turkey,cranberry sauce and bun tops.

Wrap each turkey sandwich in aluminum foil.Place in slow cooker.Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 2 hours.

Simple Cheesy Ham Sandwich Recipe Slow Cooker


  • 2-4 tablespoons basil pesto
  • 4 small buns,cut into halves
  • 4 oz (120 g) thinly sliced ham
  • 2 oz (60 g) sliced low-fat provole cheese


Step 1

Spread basil pesto on bottoms of bun halves. Top with ham,and cheese and bun tops. Wrap each sandwich in aluminum foil.

Step 2

Place sandwiches in slow cooker. Cover cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 2 hours.

Step 3

Turn off slow cooker. remove cooked sandwiches and serve as a main dish or appetizer.
