Instant Pot Apple Cobbler Recipe

makes 4 servings

Ingredients: 5 Granny Smith apples, peeled and chunked, 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) ground nutmeg, 2 teaspoons (10 ml) freshly ground cinnamon, 2 tablespoons (30 ml) maple syrup, 2 tablespoons (30 ml) caramel syrup, 1/2 cup (125 ml), 4 tablespoons (60 ml) melted salted butter, 1/4 cup (all-purpose flour, 1/3 cup (80 ml) light-brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) sea salt, 3/4 cup (180 ml) old-fashioned oats, scooped vanilla ice cream

Instructions: Place chunked apples to 4-6 quart (4-6 L) instant pot. Top with ground nutmeg and cinnamon, then pour in maple and caramel syrups.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and then add the brown sugar, all-purpose flour, salt, and oats. Mix well and place the butter mixture over the apples and spices.

Close the pot and lock the lid. Set the machine to cook at high pressure. Set the timer to cook for 8 minutes.

Using the Natural Release method, bring the pressure to normal. Unlock and open the lid. Stir apple cobbler well before serving. Transfer to serving plates. Add the scoop of vanilla ice cream to each plate. Serve immediately. Enjoy the best apple cobbler recipe!

Slow Cooker Apple Cobbler Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 cups peeled and sliced apples
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, melted

Method

Step 1

Grease a slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Add sliced apples to the greased pot.

Step 2

Add brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and allspice. Mix well.

Step 3

Sprinkle yellow cake mix on top of the apples, then sprinkle the remaining ground cinnamon on top. Drizzle evenly with melted butter.

Step 4

Cover the slow cooker and cook on a high-heat setting for 2½-3 hours.

Step 5

Turn off the pot and open the lid. Stir apple mixture well before serving. Transfer apple cobbler to serving plates. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
