Slow Cooker Baked Fudge-Pudding Cake

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 4 eggs,beaten
  • 1¹⁄³ cups sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • grated peel of 1 orange
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) whipping cream
  • whipped cream or vanilla ice cream

Method

Step 1

Grease inside 4½-quart(4½L) slow cooker with cooking spray. Preheat slow cooker on low.

Step 2

In a small mixing bowl, combine cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Blend well and set aside.

Step 3

Place beaten eggs in a large bowl and gradually add sugar, beating until very thick and pate yellow. Mix in melted butter, vanilla, and orange peel.

Step 4

Stir coca mixture into egg mixture. Add whipping cream and mix until blended.

Step 5

Pour batter into slow cooker. Cover opening of slow cooker with paper towel to collect condensation(make sure it doesn't touch batter). Place lid over paper towel.

Step 6

Cook on low heat setting for 3-4 hours. To serve, spoon slow cooker baked fudge pudding cake into dishes.
