Ingredients

  • 6 potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 3 onions, peeled and quartered
  • 3-4 pounds (1,4-1,7 kg) corned beef brisket, fat removed
  • 1 cup (250 ml) ginger beer
  • 1/2 cup prunes

Method

Step 1

Combine onions, potatoes, and prunes in a slow cooker. Arrange beef atop vegetables. Pour beer overall. Cover and cook on low heat for 9-11 hours.

Step 2

Turn off the cooker and open the lid. Using tongs, remove cooked beef from the pot. Transfer to a cutting board. Cut into cubes.
