Slow cooker brown sugar banana bread. This brown sugar banana bread is super moist and delicious, with a perfect balance of sweetness from the bananas and brown sugar. The best part? It’s made in your crockpot!
Baked goods come out of the oven with a slightly crisp outside and moist inside, but in slow cookers, there’s no need to worry about over or undercooking. The moist environment means the cakes will not dry out and the moist heat is perfect for making the best brown sugar banana cake ever!
Banana bread is a perfect dish for any occasion. It is easy to make and it offers a healthier alternative to traditional baked banana bread recipes.
It’s also possible to make this recipe with raw bananas, but some chefs recommend the use of ripe ones for optimal flavor. The addition of brown sugar offers sweetness and depth, while the sugary crust on top makes that extra bit of magic.
What are some of the benefits of cooking this dessert in a slow cooker?

Cooking banana bread in a slow cooker has many benefits. It is easier than baking it in an oven, especially if you are cooking for a large group of people. The recipe can be made ahead of time and then cooked on the day you need it without any fuss.
What to Serve with Banana Bread
CHOCOLATE- Bananas and dark chocolate are a delicious combination. You can eat them separately, or you can make a chocolate frosting to pour on top. They are also perfect with a cup of hot coffee – a great snack any time of day.
FRUITS– Sometimes you feel like eating something light and fresh. Citrus fruits like oranges are perfect for this. Have a few slices in the morning for breakfast or after a big and yummy dinner to cleanse your taste buds.
NUTELLA– Who doesn’t love hazelnut and chocolate spread? For the best-tasting banana bread, make sure to serve it warm. If you don’t have time to bake it fresh, you can also toast it or put it under the grill. If you want to make your own spread from scratch, this Nutella vegan and gluten-free recipe only requires 4 ingredients!
PEANUT BUTTER– Legend says that Elvis Presley liked a yummy sandwich made of banana and peanut butter. You can recreate Elvis’ favorite snack by making banana bread and adding lots of peanut butter. You can choose the type of peanut butter you like best – crunchy or creamy.
NUTS– Nuts are a great addition to banana bread! You can mix them in, sprinkle them on top before baking to make the bread crunchy, or you can serve them on the side. Examples of tasty nuts are cashews, walnuts, pecans, and pistachios.
YOGURT– Serve banana bread with natural yogurt, fresh fruit, and granola for a yummy breakfast buffet. Great fruit options are strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. With this easy-to-prepare snack, even picky eaters will be satisfied!
COMPOTES and JAMS– Mmm! A spoonful of sweet, fruity jam on a piece of warm banana bread is a delicious treat. My favorite is a berry jam, like strawberry or raspberry. Yum!
