Slow Cooker Easy Chocolate Clusters Recipe

Makes 3½ dozen clusters

Ingredients: 2 pounds (960 g) white coating chocolate, broken into small pieces, 2 cups (500 ml) semisweet chocolate chips, 4 oz (120 g) package sweet German chocolate, 24 oz (720 ml) jar roasted peanuts

Instructions: In a slow cooker, combine white coating chocolate, chocolate chips, and German chocolate. Cover cooker and cook on high-heat setting for 1 hour. Reduce heat to low and continue cooking for further 1 hour, or until chocolate is melted, stirring every 15 minutes.

Turn off slow cooker and open the lid. Stir in toasted peanuts. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared waxed paper. Allow standing until set. Store baked chocolate clusters at room temperature.

Slow Cooker Self-Frosting Fudge Cake Recipe

Makes 8-10 servings

Ingredients: 2½ cups (565 ml) chocolate fudge pudding cake mix, 2 large eggs, beaten, 3/4 cup (180 ml) water, 3 tablespoons (45 ml) vegetable oil, 1/3 cup (80 ml) pecan halves, 1/4 cup (60 ml) chocolate syrup, 1/4 cup (60 ml) luck warm water, 3 tablespoons (45m l) granulated sugar

Instructions: In an electric mixer bowl, combine cake mix, beaten eggs, 3/4 cup (180 ml\) water, and vegetable oil. beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.

Pour cake mixture into greased and floured cake pan, that will fit into your slow cooker. Sprinkle pecan halves over cake mixture.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine chocolate syrup, ,1/4 cup (60 ml) water, and granulated sugar. Blend well and spoon over batter.

Cover slow cooker and cook on high-heat setting for 2-3 hours. Turn off slow cooker and open the lid. Remove baked fudge cake from the cooker and transfer to a serving dish. Serve chocolate cake warm.

Slow Cooker Chocolate Pudding Cake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 18½ oz (555 g) package chocolate cake mix
  • 4 oz (120 g) package instant choclate pudding mix
  • 2 cups (500 ml) sour cream
  • 4 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup (250 ml) water
  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) vegetable oil
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • whipped cream or ice cream

Method

Step 1

In an electric mixer bowl, combine cake mix, chocolate pudding mix, sour cream, beaten eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes, then stir in chocolate chips.

Step 2

Pour the batter into grease slow cooker. Cover cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 6-7 hours, or until toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.

Step 3

Turn off the slow cooker and open the lid. Using wooden spatula transfer baked chocolate pudding cake to a serving plate. Serve warm.
