Slow Cooker Italian Meatballs Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound (480 g) frozen meatballs
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) Club Soda
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled and finely chopped
- marinara sauce
Method
Step 1
In a large nonstick skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add frozen meatballs and cook until lightly browned.
Step 2
Grease a 6-quart (6 L) slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Remove browned meatballs from the skillet and transfer to the greased pot.
Step 3
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the remaining ingredients, except marinara sauce. Mix well and pour over meatballs.
Step 4
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 4-6 hours.
Step 5
Turn off the cooker and open the lid. Carefully remove cooked meatballs from the cooker and transfer to a serving plate. Pour the marinara sauce over. Serve hot.
