Slow cooker pulled pork sandwiches recipe. Yesterday, I cooked in slow cooker pulled chicken. Today I try to make pulled pork in a slow cooker. Serve it with delicious homemade white barbecue sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds (960 g) boneless pork loin roast
- Brown Sugar Rub (recipe follows)
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) chicken broth
- 12 small buns
- White Barbecue Sauce (recipe follows)
- For Brown Sugar Rub (makes about 1/4 cup (60 ml))
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- For White Barbecue Sauce:
- 1 ½ cups (375 ml) low-fat mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 clove garlic,peeled and minced
- 2 teaspoons horseradish
- 1-2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
Method

Step 2
Cover the cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 6-8 hours or until pork is tender.
