Slow cooker raspberried chicken drumsticks recipe. Chicken drumsticks with delicious homemade raspberry sauce cooked in a slow cooker. This is an ideal dish to prepare at home and take to a potluck supper.

Slow Cooker Raspberried Chicken Drumsticks Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 chicken drumsticks, rinsed and patted dry
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) raspberry jam
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • toasted sesame seeds
  • chopped green onions

Method

Step 1

In a small mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, mustard, jam, and black pepper. Mix well. Brush soy mixture on chicken.

Step 2

Place chicken in a slow cooker. Pour remaining soy mixture over chicken drumsticks. Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 5-6 hours or until drumsticks are tender.

Step 3

Remove cooked chicken from slow cooker. transfer on serving platter and keep warm.

Step 4

Switch slow cooker to high. In a small mixing bowl, combine cornstarch and cold water. Stir until cornstarch dissolved. Stir cornstarch mixture into cooking juices in slow cooker.

Step 5

Cook, uncovered, on a high-heat setting, stirring occasionally for 10-15 minutes or until sauce thickened. Spoon over chicken drumsticks.

Step 6

Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve warm.
