Slow cooker simple pork tacos. Pork roast with salsa and spices cooked in a slow cooker. This is a really simple slow cooker pork tacos recipe. Serve it with corn or flour tortillas.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds (960 g) boneless pork roast
  • 1 cup (250 ml) salsa
  • 4 oz (120 ml) can green chilies
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • flour or corn tortillas
  • salsa
  • sour cream
  • diced tomatoes
  • shredded cheese
  • shredded lettuce

 

Method

Step 1

In a slow cooker, combine pork roast, salsa, chilies, garlic salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Step 2

Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 8 hours or until pork is tender.

Step 3

Turn off the slow cooker. Using tongs, remove cooked meat from slow cooker. Transfer to cutting board. Shred with two forks.

Step 4

Serve on corn or flour tortillas. Top as desired.
