Spicy chicken breasts recipe. Marinated chicken breasts cooked in a halogen (turbo) oven. Easy and simple chicken recipe.
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons Greek yogurt
- 2 chilies
- 3 cloves garlic,peeled
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 2 teaspoons allspice
- 2 teaspoons clear honey
- zest and juice of 1 lemon
- handful of coriander leaves,finely chopped
- salt and black pepper,to taste
- 4-6 chicken breasts,boned and skinned
In a food processor,combine all ingredients,except chicken breasts. Process to form a paste. Place mixture into freezer bag.
Score the chicken breasts lightly with a knife. Place chicken in with marinade. Secure the freezer bag and toss well to coat chicken breasts. Refrigerate overnight.
Arrange marinated chicken breasts on greased ovenproof dish.
Preheat halogen oven to 400ºF(200º C). Cook for 25-30 minutes or until chicken cooked through.
Serve spicy chicken breasts on a bed of rice.
