Spicy potato wedges. Potatoes with spices baked in halogen (turbo) oven. Very tasty appetizer!.

Ingredients

  • 5 oz (150 g) medium potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons sunflower oil
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method

Step 1

Place scrubbed potato pieces in a large glass bowl.

Step 2

Combine together oil,orange juice,chili powder,mustard and salt in mixing bowl. Mix well and pour mixture over potatoes. Toss to coat evenly.

Step 3

In small mixing bowl,combine the creme fraiche and chives to make the dip. Put the low grilling rack in the turbo oven. Set halogen oven temperature to 425ºF(220°C).

Step 4

Arrange the potatoes on a round baking tray. Cover turbo oven and cook for 20-25 minutes,stirring after 15 minutes. Transfer spicy potato wedges to a warm serving plate. Serve with a bowl of chive dip.
