Oven-baked Cajun sweet potatoes. Cajun-style sweet potatoes made in the oven topped with thyme and spices. A healthy, easy side dish for any occasion.

What are the benefits of Cajun potatoes?

Sometimes you have to get a little creative when it comes to cooking. If you’re in the mood for a switch-up from your traditional sweet potato casserole, consider oven-baking them with a sprinkling of Cajun seasoning.

Baked Cajun sweet potatoes are healthier than fried or boiled because they contain less oil and sugar. They also have a nice texture. The skin is soft and moist with a crispy outside layer. It has a unique flavor that is not too spicy or too bland, making them the perfect side dish for every occasion!

Can you use Cajun seasoning with other vegetables?

At first, this might seem like a silly question. But if you think about it, your Cajun seasoning is a combination of Cajun spices and salt. So, we can assume that we can use it with any vegetable that we want to add some flavor to.

Are Cajun Potatoes Vegetarian-Friendly?

For those of us keeping Kosher, the answer is no.

It is important to note that there are many people who do not keep Kosher and to these individuals, the answer may be different.
