The best orange smoothie recipe. I’ve created a great recipe that is perfect for this time of year – Smoothies! I’m not just talking about the store-bought pre-made kind, but fresh, homemade smoothies with fruit and yogurt. They are delicious and healthy too!

There’s no shortage of ways to mix and match ingredients for healthy smoothies. I’ve been making myself different types every day for the past week.

I’ve tried the following combinations:

Banana and strawberry

Banana and yogurt

Banana and mango

Strawberry and blueberry

Mango and pineapple

The peak of the cold season, when colds and other viruses are at their peak, can be the most difficult time to get enough vitamins. This refreshing orange smoothie is a great way to get your daily dose of vitamin C.

Nowadays, our lifestyles put a lot of stress on our immune system. We’re constantly surrounded by stressful people and high-energy environments, which can make it hard to fight off the common cold or other illnesses. Eating a healthy diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables helps to boost the immune system and also protects it from bacterial infections. Exercise is also important because it alleviates stress and helps strengthen the immune system.

This January, I am starting small by committing to a few healthy choices. One of them is to quit smoking which will make me feel better right now and later on. Commit with me to taking one more step towards our own long-term health!
