Warm croissant brie caramelized onion sandwiches. Very quick, easy, and tasty appetizer. Use it for lunch, dinner, and especially late in the evening. You may cook caramelized onions in a pressure cooker.

Warm Croissant Brie Caramelized Onion Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 2 croissants, halved horizontally
- 3 oz (90g) Brie cheese, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup caramelized onions
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
Method
Step 1
Spread an equal amount of brie cheese, caramelized onions, and thyme on the bottom half of croissant. Top with reaming half of the croissant. Arrange on baking sheet.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 400 F (200 C). Bake in preheated oven until cheese is melted and the surface of the croissant is golden brown, for about 10 minutes.
Step 3
Remove baked croissants from the oven. Transfer to cutting board. Cut each croissant into thirds. Serve hot.
