Ingredients
- 9 oz (270 g) chicken wings
- 1 cup (250 ml) cold water
- 1 tablespoon sliced scallion
- 1-inch (2.5 cm) piece of fresh gigeroot,cut into 4 slices
- 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon dark soy sauce
- 1 star anise
- 1 teaspoon sugar
Method
Step 1
Boil water in a small pan. Add chicken wings,scallion and gingeroot. Bring back to a boil.
Step 2
Add the remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Using a slotted spoon,remove soy chicken wings from liquid. Serve hot.
