Pasta with blue cheese sauce.Cooked Italian pasta served with homemade blue cheese sauce.Delicious!
- 8 oz (240 g) pasta
- 3 oz (90 g) arugula
- 1 tablespoon butter,melted
- 1 cup (250 ml) milk
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1/2 cup toasted walnuts,coarsely chopped
- salt and freshly ground black pepper,to taste
Cook pasta according cooking instructions. Drain,reserving 1/4 cup of water.
In a large saucepan,combine melted butter,cheese and milk. Whisk together until smooth.
Add salt and black pepper. Add cooked pasta,arugula and reserved water to blue cheese mixture. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts and serve immediately.
