Ingredients

  • 1pound (480 g) beef sirloin, cut into strips
  • 1½ pounds broccoli florets
  • 1 cup red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 cup yellow bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup diced yellow onions
  • sesame seeds, for garnish
  • To Make a Mainade:
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) hoisin sauce
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) water

Method

Step 1

In a medium mixing bowl, combine all marinade ingredients. Mix well. Add striped beef. Cover and refrigerate for about 20 minutes.

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the vegetables and 1 tablespoon of stir fryer oil. Mix well. Transfer the vegetable to the air fryer basket. Fry at 200 F (100 C) for about 5 minutes.

Step 3

Open the air fryer, and mix all vegetables, making sure they are softened. If there are not, cook for a further 2 minutes.

Step 4

Remove fried vegetables and transfer them to a large bowl. Add marinated beef to the air fryer basket. Fry at 360 F (180 C) for 4 minutes, flipping and cooking for another 2 minutes.

Step 5

Remove fried beef stirps from the fryer and transfer it to fried vegetables, Stir well. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve hot.
