Air Fryer Filet Mignon Recipe

- 1/2 pound (240 g) filet mignon
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1½ teaspoons chopped fresh thyme leaves
- 1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Remove the meat from the refrigerator and allow it to rest at room temperature for 15 minutes. Gently pat dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Preaht your air fryer to 375 F (190 C) for 5 minutes.
Place seasoned filet mignon in the air fryer basket. Fry at 375 F (190 C) for 15 minutes, flipping the filet over halfway through.
In a microwave-safe dish, place garlic and butter. Microwave for 30-45 seconds, or until the butter is melted.
Stir in Dijon mustard, chopped thyme, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Remove fried filet mignon from the fryer and transfer to a serving plate. Drizzle with butter sauce. Serve hot.
