Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small yellow onion, peeled and finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
- 3/4 pound (360 g) ground beef
- 3/4 pound (360 g) ground pork
- 1/4 cup finley chopped fresh parsley
- 1½ teaspoons salt
- freshly ground black eppper, to taste
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
Method
Step 1
heat the olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, but not browned.
Step 2
Remove cooked onions and garlic from the skillet and transfer them to a large bowl. Stir in ground pork, beef, parsley, oregano, beaten eggs, and seasoning. Mix until well combined.
Step 3
Divide the meat mixture into 12 evenly sized balls.
Step 4
Working in batches, fry at 380 F ( 190 C) for 12 minutes, shaking and turning meatballs twice during the cooking time. Repeat with remaining meatballs. Serve hot.

Going to try these tonight. They look like there is a glaze on them. Did I miss something?
