Cactus pear margarita.Tequila-based alcoholic mixed drink. Quick, easy, and tasty!

Ingredients

  • 1¹⁄³ oz (40 ml) silver tequila
  • 2/3 oz (20 ml) Cointreau
  • 1/3 oz (10 ml) freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 ripe cactus pear, peeled and diced

Method

Step 1

Rub a wedge of lime around the rim of a cocktail glass. Dip it into a saucer of caster sugar.

Step 2

Muddle the pear pieces in the shaker, without ice. Add a scoop of ice and remaining ingredients. Shake well and strain into the glass.

Step 3

Mush the pulp left in the strainer to add the last drops of flavor. Garnish cactus pear Margarita with a wedge of lime.
