Here are three types of foods that you should definitely try out if you have an air fryer:

– Vegetables: Air fryers make vegetables crispy and crunchy, which makes them perfect for salads, stir-fries, and more.

– Seafood: If you like fish or seafood, then you should try cooking it in the air fryer. Dried fruit is also a good choice for this type of appliance because it can be cooked quickly without any oil needed.

– Meat: If you are looking for something to cook with your air fryer on the grill or roast, meat is a great option

Cooking with your air fryer can be a fun and healthy way to prepare meals. However, it’s important to understand the safety precautions and guidelines for using this device before getting started. Here are some simple steps to keep in mind while cooking with your air fryer: -Make sure the lid is on properly before turning on the machine. It’s critical that you ensure the lid is securely in place before you turn on the machine.

-Do not use the air fryer while it is plugged into an outlet. This will prevent any accidental electric shocks. Do not place anything on top of the cord or twist it.

-Always unplug your air fryer from the power supply when done cooking to prevent fires and other safety concerns-

-Always keep your hand out of the cooking process and away from the blades to prevent accidental injury.

-Make sure that you are using a nonstick air fryer. If you’re not, use a baking pan lined with pressed aluminum foil.

-Always preheat the air fryer before adding food-Let frozen fish thaw for at least 1 hour before cooking. If you are preparing a dish such as fish sticks, preheat the air fryer and leave them uncovered on the tray for an additional 20-25 minutes.

-Always marinate your food before cooking (instructions will come with recipes)-Add oil to the air fryer basket if needed while cooking so that food doesn’t stick

-As a general rule, cook foods at 360 degrees Fahrenheit-Cut down on the amount of oil needed in recipes by cooking at less than 360 degrees Fahrenheit

  • 8 large jalapeno chiles
  • 6 oz (180 g) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz (120 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1½ teaspoons kosher salt, divided
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1½ cups Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon lime zest
  • 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lime juice

Step 1

Boil 3 cups (750 ml) of water in a medium saucepan over high heat. Add jalapeños and cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes.

Step 2

Using tongs, remove boiled jalapeños from the pan and transfer them to a bowl of ice water. Allow to stand for 30 seconds, then transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels. Make a slit vertically along the side of each jalapeño. Remove stems, seeds, and veins, then rinse them and pat dry with paper towels.

Step 3

In a medium mixing bowl, combine Cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Stir well.

Step 4

Fill each jalapeño with 2 teaspoons of cheese mixture. Close the slit to seal in the cheese.

Step 5

Place all-purpose flour in a shallow dish. Put beaten eggs in a second shallow dish. Place combined Panko breadcrumbs and the remaining 1 teaspoon salt in a third dish.

Step 6

Dip stuffed peppers in beaten eggs first, then coat them in the flour. Return coated jalapeños to egg dish again, and finally coat in breadcrumb mixture.

Step 7

Preheat your air fryer to 375 F (190 C) for 5 minutes. Grease the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 8

Working in batches, fry at 375 F (190 C) for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown, flipping once halfway through. Repeat with remaining stuffed jalapeños. Serve hot.

Step 9

In a small mixing bowl, combine sour cream, lime zest, and lime juice. Mix well. Serve with fried jalapeños.
