Cafe de Ola. Very delicious French coffee with cinnamon. An excellent worm drink for a cold winter evening. You may also like Cinnamon Java Coffee, another tasty coffee prepared in a slow cooker.

Cafe de Ola

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (500 ml) fresh cold water
  • 1/4 cup Mexican coffee, coarsely ground
  • 1 large stick cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Method

Step 1

In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil.

Step 2

Reduce heat and simmer 3-5 minutes. Strain through a fine strainer. Serve cafe de ola in large warm, heavy mugs.
