Fig and Cheese Canapés Recipe
- 1 pound (480 g) fresh figs, rinsed, dried and top removed
- 2 oz (60 g) fresh baby arugula
- 5 oz (150 g) roquefort or blue cheese
- 1 slice prosciutto, cut into thin strips (optional)
Make 2 deep cuts into the fig perpendicular to one another. Pipe ½ oz (15 g) of cheese into the opening.
Top with a fresh arugula leaf and prosciutto strip. Arrange on a serving platter and serve immediately.
