Fig and Cheese Canapés Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound (480 g) fresh figs, rinsed, dried and top removed
  • 2 oz (60 g) fresh baby arugula
  • 5 oz (150 g) roquefort or blue cheese
  • 1 slice prosciutto, cut into thin strips (optional)

Method

Step 1

Make 2 deep cuts into the fig perpendicular to one another. Pipe ½ oz (15 g) of cheese into the opening.

Step 2

Top with fresh arugula leaf and prosciutto strip. Arrange on serving platter and serve immediately.
