Fillet of beef in wine.Cooked beef steak in wine grave.Very delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb(750g) fillet steak
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 2 oz (60 g) lard
  • 1 wineglass dry red wine
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 4 tablespoons beef stock
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

Method

Step 1

The meat should be browned on a spit,but can be browned on a hot frying pan without fat,basted with mixed oil and vinegar.

Step 2

Separately brown the sugar,add flour and mix the beef gravy. Add wine and stock.

Step 3

Slice the meat and pt in a small saucepan. Brush each piece with vegetable oil. Cover with the sauce and braise until tender (20-30 minutes).
