Spicy Grilled Shrimp Recipe
A very easy and delicious appetizer. If you would like to serve it as a main dish, double the recipe.
Makes 4 appetizers
Ingredients: 10 bamboo skewers, 1/3 cup (80 ml) chopped fresh cilantro, 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) each salt, freshly ground black pepper, and ground cayenne pepper, ΒΌ cup (60 ml) olive oil, 1 pound (0.45 kg) large shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails intact
Instructions: Soak bamboo skewers in water for 30 minutes. Heat your grill to medium-high. In a medium mixing bowl, combine chopped cilantro, seasoning and olive oil. Whisk well, then add shrimp and gently toss to coat.
Thread marinated shrimp onto soaked bamboo skewers. Place skewers on the preheated grill. Grill, turning once, for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and cooked through.

Easy Grilled Shrimp with Mayonnaise Recipe
Ingredients
- raw medium shrimp (about 1Β½ pound-680g),peeled,deveined and tails left intact
- bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 10 minutes
- For Dressing:
- mayonnaise (not salad dressing)
- 1 garlic clove, minced (or 1/4 teaspoon powder)
- lemon juice
- chopped fresh parsley (or 3/4 teaspoon flakes)
- Worcestershire sauce
Method
Step 1
Stir all ingredients for dressing in small bowl.
Step 2
Tread 6 shrimp, all in the same direction, onto each skewer. Preheat electric grill for 5 minutes or gas barbecue to medium. Lightly grease grill with oil.
Step 3
Cook shrimp on greased grill for about 4 minutes per side. Brush shrimps with generous dabs of dressing until they are firm and pink. Serve grilled shrimp hot on lemon slices.
