Old Fashioned Deviled Eggs Recipe
- 6 eggs, boiled, peeled and halved lengthwise
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup finely chopped mushrooms
- 3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- salt and freshly ground black eppper, to taste
- 3 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- chopped chives, for garnish
Spoon out the egg yolks form egg halves and transfer them to a large bowl.
Melt the butter in an electric instant pot, turned to the sauté mode. Add mushrooms, and onions. Sauté, stirring occasionally, until golden, for 5-7 minutes. Add garlic and continue cooking and stirring occasionally, for a further 1 minute.
Remove the mushroom mixture from the pot and transfer to the bowl with egg yolks. Stir in mayonnaise, then season to taste with salt and black pepper. Mix well.
Stuff egg whites with filling. Garnish with crumbled bacon and chopped chives. Enjoy!
