Ingredients and Preparation for Trout Fillets
To make oven-baked trout with creamy lemon and dill sauce, you will need the following ingredients:
– 4 fresh trout fillets
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 tablespoons of olive oil
– 1 tablespoon of butter
– 2 cloves of garlic, minced
– 1/4 cup of white wine
– 1/4 cup of chicken or vegetable broth
– 1/2 cup of heavy cream
– 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice
– 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh dill
Before cooking the trout fillets, it’s important to prepare them properly. Rinse the fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides of the fillets with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then, add the white wine and broth to the skillet and bring the mixture to a simmer.
Place the seasoned trout fillets in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the fillets from the skillet and set them aside on a plate.
Now, it’s time to make the creamy lemon and dill sauce. In the same skillet, add the heavy cream, lemon juice, and chopped dill. Stir the mixture well and let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Once the sauce is ready, pour it over the cooked trout fillets and serve immediately. Enjoy your delicious oven-baked trout with creamy lemon and dill sauce!

Cooking Trout Fillets in a Halogen (Turbo) Oven and Serving with Creamy Sauce
Now that you have prepared the trout fillets and homemade creamy lemon and dill sauce, it’s time to cook them in a halogen (turbo) oven.
First, preheat your halogen oven to 375°F. While the oven is heating up, place the trout fillets on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush each fillet with olive oil and sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
Once the oven has reached the desired temperature, place the baking tray with the trout fillets inside the oven. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
While the trout fillets are cooking, warm up the homemade creamy lemon and dill sauce in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir occasionally to prevent the sauce from burning or sticking to the bottom of the pan.
Once the trout fillets are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Plate the fillets and drizzle the warm creamy lemon and dill sauce over them.
Garnish with fresh dill sprigs and lemon wedges, if desired. Your oven-baked trout with creamy sauce is now ready to be served and enjoyed!
