Oven Roasted Bourbon Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, washed
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- 2 teaspoons light soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons bourbon whiskey
- 2 teaspoons ginger juice
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Method
Step 1
In a medium mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, except whole chicken. Mix well.
Step 2
Pour marinade over chicken and rub chicken very well. Place the chicken in a resealable food plastic bag, seal tightly the bag and allow marinating for 2 hours.
Step 3
Preheat your oven to 300 F (150 C). Remove chicken from marinade and place an oven pan.
Step 4
Bake in preheated oven for about 1Β½-2 hours or until golden brown.
Step 5
Remove roasted whole chicken from the oven. Serve immediately.
