A slow cooker is one of the most useful appliances in a modern kitchen. It can be used to cook an entire meal, from soup to dessert, with no supervision and very little prep time.
Even in the simplest recipe, a slow cooker can make your life easier by reducing cooking time and allowing you more time for other tasks.
Why should I prepare Bratwurst stew in a slow cooker?
Bratwurst stew is a delicious, hearty, and warming dish that is perfect for the cold winter months. It is also more economical than buying ready-made soups, as you are able to use up leftovers in your fridge.
It’s easy to make and can be cooked in a slow cooker or on the stovetop. It’s also filling and satisfying, with plenty of vegetables and protein from the pork sausages.
The recipe will serve four people so it’s ideal for families or couples who live alone.
How well will leftovers (leftover stew) reheat?
When it comes to leftovers, the best way to reheat them is in the microwave. A microwave will reheat food quickly and evenly, while also preserving some of the nutrients that are normally lost when food is cooked.
But there are a few things you should know before reheating your leftovers. For example, you should never reheat food in a traditional oven because it can dry out the food and make it hard to eat.
You should also avoid reheating leftover soups or stews in the microwave because they will become too watery as they heat up.
