Ingredients
- 1 pound (480 g) homemade bread dough
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) melted salted butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
Method
Step 1
Line the bottom of 6-quart (6 L) slow cooker with a large piece of parchment paper.
Step 2
Divide the dough into 16 equal pieces. Set aside.
Step 3
In a medium mixing bowl, combine melted butter, garlic powder, grated cheese, and Italian seasoning. Using a fork, stir to combine.
Step 4
Dip each dough piece into the butter mixture. Place coated pieces in a single layer in the parchment lined pot.
Step 5
Place a kitchen towel between the lid and the crock pot insert to prevent condensation from dripping. Cover the pot and allow the dough to rise in the turned-off cooker for 1 hour.
Step 6
Switch the slow cooker to high-heat setting. Cook, covered, for 2-3 hours or until it cooked through and bottom of bread is browned.
