Slow cooker chicken tacos. Puled chicken with taco seasoning cooked in a slow cooker and served on soft tortillas. Yummy recipe!
Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos
Ingredients
- 1 pound (480 g) boneless and skinless chicken breastss
- 1 ¼ oz (37g) taco seasoning mix
- 1 cup (250 ml) water
- low-fat flour tortillas
- shredded lettuce, tomatoes, nonfat shredded cheddar cheese
Method
Step 1
Grease inside slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 2
In a greased slow cooker, combine chicken breasts, taco mix seasoning and water. Mix well.
Step 3
Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 6-8 hours.
Step 4
Remove cooked chicken breasts from slow cooker. Using two forks, shred the meat. Serve in soft tortillas and garnish with lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and salsa, as desired.
