Ingredients
- 4 pounds (1.9 kg) skinless chicken pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 16 oz (480 ml) can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 cup (250 ml) barbecue sauce
Method
Step 1
In a large nonstick skillet, brown chicken over medium-high heat. Place chicken pieces in 3½-4-quart(3½-4 l) slow cooker.
Step 2
In a small mixing bowl, combine cranberry and barbecue sauces salt, and black pepper. Stir well and pour mixture over chicken.
Step 3
Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 5-6 hours. Serve slow cooker cranberry chicken over the cooked couscous.
