Slow Cooker Garlic-Soy Chicken Breasts

Ingredients
- 1 small yellow onion, peeled and sliced
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) vinegar
- 2 pounds (960 g) boneless and skinless chicken breasts
Method
Step 1
Grease inside slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 2
In a small mixing bowl, combine onion, garlic powder, soy sauce and vinegar. Mix well.
Step 3
Place chicken breasts in a greased slow cooker. Pour soy sauce over meat.
Step 4
Close slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 6-8 hours, or until chicken breasts are tender.
